so I started reading my old text books again, I dont know why.. I guess that im just bored lol

gallery shtuff

I finally got word back from the Michael Gibson Gallery,Unfortunately they are booked up for the rest of the year. But the Curator that looked at my work was very helpful and gave me some excellent feed back. As of right now, I've been e-mailing back and forth to a little gallery in Toronto. I'll have to see what happens though but its existing none the less.

nothing is new on the art front im afraid. I've started to read my text books again just for my benefit. At this moment its like nothing inspires me anymore.

I know i'll find it again. my inspiration is somewhere

At this moment, it is way to cold to paint in my garage studio. so i have to wait until i get a heater installed. so far im still working on the same painting. but I've been working on my brothers christmas gift.

so hopefully it all works out

Application

So last week I got an e-mail from the university saying that they got my application but they are still waiting on my fanshawe transcripts. this doesn't really make much sense to me, since I called fanshawe first when I sent everything out. I went to my old high school and dealt with that personally, and they were very nice about it too, and sent it the day after.

but apparently it takes 3 - 4 days for fanshawe to send information to universities and whatnot. which will be fun after my time is done at NSCAD when I apply for more school. I'll have to get all of then to send out information allll over again ( highschool, Fanshawe, NSCAD would all have to send my transcripts if i choose to attend another university).

but since that is all taken care of, I just have to sit and wait for a booklet in the mail from the university, then i can pick out my classes and whatnot online. As far as I know, I wont get that till march. But I hope I get it soon.

Awards Ceremony

as some of you know, I got the Siskind award for my work ethic at fanshawe college. I went the the ceremony just expecting a piece of paper with my name on it, but I ended up getting a cheque for a thousand dollars!@# :D so I'm really excited over that, of course that money goes into my savings for university.

I sent my application to NSCAD on monday, and while my mother and I were in the post office, my mom had a little panic attack. She was filling out the address and spelt the university name wrong and she was shaking all over the place. completely understandable since shes doesnt really want me to be that far away. I had to take over and re write it out for her. then because I'm sending a CD instead of a flash drive with my application my mother wanted the cd to be in a bubble envelope and the papers in a bubble envelope and all wrapped in cardboard registered mail folder that the university has to sign for.. hahahaha all over my mom freaking out because she doesnt want my application to be wreaked in any way. so my application is heading to halifax completely bubbled in an armoured car surrounded by the royal army sent by the Queen. HAHA

Siskind Award!@$!

Sooo I'll be in London on Wednesday for an awards ceremony, and I'll be receiving the Siskind award, however I'm unsure of what it is at this moment..But I'm really excited for this.
